This walk will mark the celebration of his 60th Birthday and the 30th anniversary of his first ever walk from John O’Groats to Lands End in 1985.
Over the years Beefy has gained a great deal of support from the general public by showing his commitment to raising funds for deserving charities. He goes about his charity challenges the hard way, putting himself through pain. The blisters and injuries he has sustained during these walks would have caused many a person to stop and retire; yet he still gets up each day, puts his trainers on and sets off at pace to make sure his task is completed and money is raised for those less fortunate.
